FUNKY MONK EVENT & MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP held at the Golden Nugget

Close to 300 people attended the Funky Monk Fish & Music Fest held on June 22 at the Golden Nugget raising $26,000 to further benefit the Scott E. Monk, DO Memorial Scholarship Fund. The scholarship fund honors the life and teaching

s of the former medical director of the Trauma Center at ARMC. This year’s awards were presented to Alexander Nieves, of Ventnor, Nediya Griffith, APN, of Galloway, and Sarah Pineda, RN, of Egg Harbor Towhship, at the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center’s 18th Annual Trauma Symposium at Bally’s Atlantic City Hotel & Casino on May 3.
